JOB PURPOSE – SUMMARY
Media Managers create campaigns that capture the attention of new prospects and engage existing customers. This role involves analyzing data such as survey results, website traffic to define target customer profiles, then developing optimized ad campaigns.
Media Managers focus on understanding all digital touchpoints where consumers interact with a brand. Their role involves developing strategic marketing campaigns that leverage these touchpoints to enhance brand presence across digital spaces. They’re experts in identifying how consumers engage with the internet and technology, and they know how to seamlessly integrate various digital tools and platforms for maximum effect.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Analyze how consumers use the internet, including preferred devices and digital platforms.
• Ability to create, implement, and evaluate marketing campaigns across digital platforms.
• Implement digital media strategies and plans; negotiate and purchase media.
• Campaign planning, optimization strategies and reporting on an ongoing basis.
• Analyze campaign metrics, prepare performance reports, with relevant learnings and recommendations for future campaigns.
• Collaborate with teams across departments to create cohesive marketing campaigns that connect all touchpoints in a unified, coordinated manner.
• Advise on the effectiveness of digital creative format, beyond campaign thinking
Client Management:
• Understand client business and communication goals and the firm’s strategic plans to meet those goals.
• Understand overall client strategies and help develop strategies as needed.
• Work independently and manage day-to-day implementation of client activities.
• Drive integration across all stakeholders to ensure that all briefs are in-line with Strategy and within Budget.
PROFESSION, TECHNICAL SKILL AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Expertise in social media, content strategy, and mobile technology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for collaboration.
• Excellent organizational skills, manages multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Creative thinking paired with a methodical, analytical data-driven approach.
• Proficiency in major social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.).
• Strong understanding of SEO and web analytics.
• Proven understanding of traditional media is a plus
• At least 3+ years’ relevant work experience.
