JOB PURPOSE – SUMMARY
The account manager will be responsible for optimizing the client’s online and offline presence through marketing strategies. Their duties include creating campaigns, monitoring clients’ social media, and measuring the success of marketing strategies. They aim to create strong relationships with clients and help them achieve their marketing goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Determining client needs by conducting in-person or electronic meetings to outline their goals.
•Developing and implementing a comprehensive integrated strategy for assigned clients.
•Overseeing the client’s online and offline presence and identifying areas of improvement.
•Presenting effective strategies and training to clients when needed.
•Analyzing the effectiveness of strategies by tracking metrics such as customer conversion rates and cost-per-click.
•Creating and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with clients to build trust.
•Writing reports on campaign performance on a monthly or weekly basis.
•Acting as a point of contact for clients to address any management queries or concerns.
•Keeping abreast of the digital industry.
•Performance review and analysis of your client’s marketing activity. The ability to analyze marketing results and communicate effectively both the positive and negative and make recommendations for further improvement.
PROFESSION, TECHNICAL SKILL AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• A diploma in any Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a digital account manager, or a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of digital best practices, marketing strategies, and social media management.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience liaising with clients at senior level.
• Experience in participating in new business pitches.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience and a strong understanding of digital marketing channels such as, online advertising, SEO, and social media.
• Able to act on own initiative, but also work as part of an established team.
• Be able & willing to make decisions and be accountable & take responsibility for those decisions.
